How do you transfer contacts from hotmail to gmail?

from hotmail, go to the options button (at the top right)


in the options section, click on the bottom link (export contacts)


this will export all your contacts into a .CSV file (save to your computer somewhere)





then go to gmail, and hit the contacts link on the left hand side


then select IMPORT and go find the CSV file you just saved earlier from hotmail. very easy.
