How is 'indiatimes email service' when compared with yahoo / gmail / hotmail / rediff ?
With broad I can say that Indiatimes email service is way behind rests,and the reason is it can't be even comparable with others regarding space capacity, performance, service, user friendliness, allowable max file size, the way it's integration with IM applications and good thing is, doesn't mater whether it's desktop or mobile , Application developer perspectives, always ahead to come with day by day technology innovations/advancements with great user friendly features and they does it quickly.
Reply:The service you are talking about cant be compared to yahoo/gmail or hotmail. These three providers hold a BIG portion of the internet communication market with respect to email communication. The features are great, gmail is the fastest by the way. Pop access, forwarding, vac response, nice user interface .. and many other things are available with these three providers. Havent used rediff. Hotmail is now 5 GB, gmail on around 3 GB and yahoo as they say is unlimited. India times lack quite of such things so as a start... u cant compare india times with them =)
