Which is the best Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, Gmail?

I've always used Hotmail.
Which is the best Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, Gmail?
Gmail lets you send much larger attachments, report spam indefinitely, store more email, and you can search your mail using keywords easily.





I say Gmail.

Reply:i use all 3; but for me gmail is the best, because you can use ms outlook or some other software to retrieve your mail; and you can also use it as a hard drive via gdrive software
Reply:Well, they have weak points and strong points.


They all have enough storage for the typical user provided for FREE. However, Gmail hasn't been around for as long and it also seems to block .exe files. Yahoo! Mail and Hotmail are now becoming like desktop clients too. I'd say Yahoo! Mail because it seems to be the only one with IM support in the WEB PAGE. It also links to it well too.

Sorry. I realized I didn't test Gmail properly. It also has web page IM support. However, Yahoo! Mail's is much better.

Reply:Yahoo mail is the worst because if your account gets deleted they kick you out of your email and forbid you to open it ever again. Hotmail is good and so is excite mail.

I would often use Hotmail to send/store files for school and on SEVERAL occasions it would freeze/be down for maintenence which I thought was insane. I'd been using hotmail for like 10 years, and it became so frustrating that I closed both my accounts with them.





GMail is nice, but not as ascethetically appeasing as Yahoo. It is not always user-friendly with the tabs and multiple sign-ins. A little high-maintenence if you ask me.





So I prefer Yahoo!. You have to be strict with your settings to block out spam, but I've had about perhaps 20 email accounts (for various work, rec, pers. bus.) in the past 10 years and Yahoo! is where I keep my main account. And I'm RARELY bothered with spam. As Yahoo! keeps updating to compete with other mail services, there havent been glitches.





+ the Yahoo! groups are wonderful. Choosing a good EMail provider is much like your cell phone. Different servers can respond differently with each one. And while I use Yahoo! on my computer all over the Midwest and East Coast... it matters what's most comfortable for you.

Reply:I like Gmail best, followed by Yahoo. Hotmail, for me, just doesn't work - plus the enormous amount of spam allowed has caused me to close every account I ever had with them.

Reply:Gmail. Gmail has powerful keyboard shortcuts. Yahoo! Mail just plain sucks. Spammers can get your e-mail account easy with Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail. And with Gmail, there are no advertisements at the bottom of your e-mails.
