If you want to POP your Yahoo mail, you need to be using the premium, Yahoo! Mail Plus service. It's not available on the free account. http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/p...

POP access is also available if you purchase some of the other premium services, like Yahoo! Web Hosting Business Standard, Professional and Yahoo! Mail - Business Edition, Yahoo! GeoCities Pro, etc.
Just in case, here are the basic server settings for Yahoo! Mail:
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com (use authentication, optionally use port 587)

Yahoo Mail is not delivering my outgoing messages to hotmail,gmail,or pop?
Hi. I am assuming that the problems that occur lately with yahoo is due to their upgrade with their system. They have been modifying their site as what we all notice. Even in the yahoo chatrooms, there are still plenty of bugs and the email as well. I tried to contact the help support but to no avail. We will have to wait and see if the problem will be corrected in a month or two. It's not that easy to spot the bugs at one time by only a few people... it needs a lot of testing through yahoo users to spot a bug.

I'm in agreement. The issue might be transient, so try your account again and see if it works now. If you need specific clarification, you may want to contact Yahoo! Customer Care via the Help forms (click the Contact Us link) and ask for assistance.
Reply:Sorry I can't answer your Q but I just couldn't help agreeing that Yahoo has gone plumb ditzy. I tried everything I knew to get my Yahoo toolbar fixed and finally said%^%26amp;%26amp; and deleted it and got another one. Seems like everybody is having trouble lately. I don't think that many people have PC probs, IT'S YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
