I've seen messenger buddies, players on the games area, and other yahoo profiles that have email addresses that are not yahoo. But I cannot figure out how to create a Yahoo! profile with another email address.
How do you create a yahoo profile with an email address that isn't @yahoo.com (ie: hotmail or gmail)?
Click on "My Account" at the top of the page (while logged in, near the "Sign Out" link). Sign in again. Then, click the "Edit" link the "Member Information" line. Go the "Email Information" section and provide alternate addresses there. Click the Finished button. Go into those alternate accounts and look for the e-mail for verifying the address %26amp; verify as instructed. Now, whatever service Yahoo service you are using, you can go into that service's preferences or member information area and choose which address that you want to use.
