Is there anyway to forward hotmail to gmail?

This is without having to log into Hotmail...


It just automatically goes there..


Im on OSX, using mail.


Got my gmail all synced up with an IMAP.


But i now know that hotmail dont do pop/imap...





This is my main account and people know me as that..


Help please? Maybe a program is needed or something?

Hotmail doesn't offer POP access but Javed uses IzyMail to enable Hotmail POP and then get the messages using the Gmail Fetcher. Great for anyone still hanging onto that old Hotmail account for some crazy reason.

Reply:Right, as they say above, since hotmail is a freebie, Microsoft figured they wouldn't give you any forwarding. Yahoo! with your freebie from them, won't give you any forwarding either. (If you PAY for a Yahoo! website you can get forwarding.)





So, if you want all your email in one place, you can forward your gmail to your hotmail account. gmail DOES allow forwarding. Get on gmail and forward ITS email to your hotmail address. Yep, this probably won't solve your problem. Best bet is probably to bite the bullet and tough everything through, and change all the things that depend on knowing your hotmail address, so's they now know your gmail address instead, and STICK with gmail.
Reply:I don't know I have tried my-self. MSN is under the jurisdiction of Microsoft and won't let any other company associate with it unless Microsoft made it in some way. You know Microsoft the company trying to monopolize everything. Since Gmail is associated with Google and Google is part of Microsoft you should be able to Forward it. However finding the button to do that is the challenge. The downside is you might have to pay for that service. I don't know what to tell you.
Reply:Hotmail dont allow pop or forwarding to other mail accounts.I also had the same problem so now i use windows live mail where i can receive all my mails from gmail, hotmail and yahoo.
