It just seems really stupid that they don't let you sign up with any of the most popular email accounts
Why would they do this?
Why does AE86 Driving club not except hotmail, Gmail yahoo etc email accounts?
A few corporates do disallow public free email ids as an added security measure since the verification is hard. If you do not have an ISP-provided email then your best is write to thier customer care to find out if there is a way for you to signup. They may grant an exemption to you on a case-by-case basis.
