Is there a mac email client that can handle hotmail and gmail?
Gmail offers a mac gmail notifier that notifies you of gmail arrivals and lets you preview/send/receive email from a gadget on your dashboard. (Look it up on Apple downloads.) I have it and use it all the time.

However, I don't know about hotmail...I doubt it, since hotmail doesn't offer pop access.
Reply:There are a couple of software options to enable Apple Mail to receive Hotmail account messages (links below) but no option to send messages through the Hotmail server except by Web.

On the Gmail website, you'll find instructions for setting up a Gmail account in Apple Mail. If you don't have the energy to find that, try the settings I use:

# Select Mail %26gt; Preferences... from the menu.

# Go to the Accounts tab.

# Click the plus sign under the accounts list.

# Type your name under Full Name:.

# Enter your Gmail address under Email Address:.

# Now enter your Gmail password under Password:.

# Make sure Automatically set up account is checked.

# Click Create.
